We are so grateful to God for the safe, happy and wonderful vacation we enjoyed last week at our cabin in Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin. The weather was perfect and we all had a wonderful time. We spent some time out on the boat, some at the beach and some at the cabin. The boys and Steve took a day to work on building their playhouse. It will be sided and shingled and everything! Elsiana had her moments, but was overall, a trooper. We will be enjoying another week up there in August. Thank you Lord, for giving us the time to rejuvenate and be together as a family. God is good all the time!

On Thursday, July 3rd, we had the privilege to sit out in the backyard of our church to watch the fireworks. We cooked out with our friends, the Tiedtkes, over a campfire for dinner and then waited for dusk for the fireworks to start. The weather was a bit cool for July, but we were comfortable. Elsiana really enjoyed them. She was jumping and laughing when they went off:). The boys liked them too.

We spent a wonderful weekend at our cabin with my mom, my niece, Stephanie, and our family the third weekend of June. We had beautiful weather and a great time. Steve did a little putzing around the cabin while Mom, the kids and I went to the beach. Elsiana stayed behind for a much needed nap! It's so nice to be able to spend some quality time with Mom. I am so busy, that I really cherish days like these.
