Trick-or-Treating

Last Saturday, we spent time enjoying Halloween.

I started the day by taking Elsi in to West Allis, by my mom for trick-or-treating, while the big kids went to a youth group gathering--or at least they tried to, but were unable to find the farm that had the corn maze and hayride:(.

We then spent the evening enjoying pizza and trick-or-treating with our good friends (who else?) the Tiedtke's. Isaiah was Luke Skywalker, Ben was a Transformer, Elsi was a Hershey's Kiss, and Dad and Mr. Tiedtke were fuzzy dice. April worked hard making the costumes for the dads. Thanks April, they turned out great!

Sibling love:)

picture perfect

Have you ever tried to get that perfect family picture, but your kids had other plans?

Yeah, me too.

Pumpkin Carving

Friday night, Steve and the kids spent the evening carving pumpkins.

Each of the kids had a pumpkin and a face they wanted carved, with the exception of Elsi, who had really no clue what was going on.

It was fun to watch the expressions on her face change as Dad went through the steps of carving the pumpkin.

Ready when you are...

under where...?

I don't know about you, but where we come from, this is soooo the "in" thing. So much so, that I think I may sport this latest fashion to work on Monday.

Then again...maybe not:)

Happy Birthday Bobbie!

A couple of weekends ago, we spent a day celebrating Bobbie's birthday. It was a surprise party that had been planned and she had no clue:). We were happy to spend the afternoon with a very special lady.
